PlayOn App for iPhone Available Now on the App Store

Stream Online Videos from Hulu, Netflix, ABC, PBS and More Over 3G and Wi-Fi

MediaMall Technologies, Inc. today announced that its highly anticipated app for iPhone and iPod touch has officially launched on the App Store. The free software update for PlayOn™ Premium subscribers enables users to stream online video and personal media to their iOS devices over 3G or Wi-Fi. Launch of the native app follows on the heels of an HTML5 web app that allows streaming of content through the device’s Safari browser. PlayOn’s media library contains video content from providers including Hulu, Netflix, Amazon VOD, CBS, Comedy Central, MTV, VH1, TV.com, PBS, CNN, SpikeTV, and The Ultimate Fighter, among others.

Existing PlayOn Premium subscribers will have the ability to download the update to their PC and begin streaming videos immediately to their iPhone and iPod touch. Customers new to the PlayOn experience can try the service free for 14 days, after which a subscription will be required for only $39.99 for the first year and $19.99 for each year thereafter.
